Young Peregrines devour meal
The two nestlings push Astrid back as they attempt to feed themselves a few times. She feeds them as quickly as possible while they continue to beg for more!
Early Afternoon Meal
Too hot for a lot of meals this afternoon….this meal had to hold them over until just after 7 tonight.
This Evening’s Feeding – Note the Changes
Here was a feeding from early this evening. Note how the nestling tracks its parent coming to the box with food. Also note the wing/tail feather development and mask which is particularly evident in the older chick.
May 25 2016 – 5am Feeding
Both young were fed about 5am – they are even starting to pick at the prey themselves.
