Eyases receive names!!
The naming contest has ended and the winners have been notified. If there were duplicate names submitted only the first submitter was eligible to win.
And the names are……….
Chick #1 – first hatched, larger, female, is now named Grace – in honor of Grace Church, whose members graciously allow us to use their parking lot during fledge watch. The steeple of Grace church is where you will often find Astrid and Ares perched.
…
Chick#2 – second hatched, smaller, male, is now named Cade – in honor of Tom Cade, founder of The Peregrine Fund and Peregrine Falcon Restoration Project. Tom was instrumental in the recovery efforts of our beloved Peregrines.
Congratulations to the winners!! Prizes will be awarded during fledge watch – we will post the date and time for that event once it has been coordinated with the winners.
